Eradikit™ BoHV1-BuHV1 discrimination kit is an indirect ELISA that allow the serological discrimination between infections caused by Bovine Herpesvirus 1 (BoHV1) and Bubaline Herpesvirus 1 (BuHV1) in ruminants.
Details
Eradikit™ BoHV1-BuHV1:
- Includes 2 plates in F8-strip format (for a total of 92 samples)
- Each plate is coated with antigens from BoHV1 (red odd columns) and BuHV1 (blue even columns)
- This indirect ELISA test could be applied in water buffalo in association with IBR marker vaccine for control of Herpesvirus infection (both BoHV1 and BuHV1): vaccinated animal will be expected to score negative
Short protocol
- Samples are directly diluted into the wells and incubated 60’ at Room Temperature
- After washing, the enzyme-labeled, anti-species globulin conjugate is added and incubated for 45’ at Room Temperature
- After washing, the substrate is added and the colorimetric reaction is read at 450 nm
