Eradikit™ AFRICAN SWINE FEVER LATERAL FLOW ASSAY

The kit has been developed to obtain tissue homogenate suitable for detection of African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) in suspicious animals by lateral flow device (LFA).

Suited samples are: spleen, kidney, lymph nodes, bone marrow. For whole blood, a specific protocol is required.

Membrane strip is coated with an anti-ASFV monoclonal antibody (MAb) in the test line. Sample suspected to contain ASFV antigen is loaded into the sample well. During the incubation, ASFV antigen, if present, is captured by specific MAb bound on membrane and detected by conjugated MAb, giving rise to visible bands. Result is visible after 15 minutes incubation and remains stable thereafter.

The kit is suitable for field testing. The use is available only for EU countries.
